Puma (Puma: पुमा Pumā) is a Kiranti language spoken by about 4,310 people (Central bureau of statistics report 2001) in Diplung, Mauwabote, Devisthan, Pauwasera and Chisapani Village Development Committees of Khotang district and in some areas of Udayapur district, Nepal.

The Himalayan Languages Project has produced the first grammatical sketch of Puma. Puma remains without a comprehensive grammar.

The Central Bureau of Nepal shows the population of Puma as only 4310, but this data is questionable. The data collectors and also the Puma people's lack of education is thought to hinder their ability to declare their caste and religion. The data collectors fill up the religion tabs by Hindu caste optionally. Thus, it can be inferred that the Population of Puma people may be more than 4310.
